AHDT GOMBE EYE PROJECT REPORT APRIL 2011
Eye Camp – 29 April to 1 May 2011

We conducted a 3 day eye camp at General hospital Gombe sponsored by AHDT. The camp was focused on cataract surgery.
The eye camp started on Friday 29 April with review of the 35 cataract patients that were earlier screened in Yamaltu, Deba and Billiri LGAs, all these patients had surgery at the close of day by 10.30 pm. This list comprise of 16 females (45.7%) and 19 males (54.3%).
On 30 April day 2, we had 46 patients, out of these 21 had surgery during the morning session and the remaining 25 had theirs in the evening, out of these 46 patients, 20 are females(43.5%), and 26(56.5%) are males. For full project report follow this lnk  AHDT Gombe Project
