Who we are

AHDT was established on September 16, 2001 and became a registered UK charity on April 17, 2007. We are a group of people who share a common interest in improving the delivery of healthcare to disadvantaged people in Africa. Millions of these people living in Nigeria, the continent’s most populous country, have no access to adequate healthcare. The result is high infant and maternal mortality and generally very poor health outcomes. We work with local partners through our various health care projects to provide interventions that bring succour to thousands of these people.
