An Indian Hospital Friday agreed to partner with the management of the Garki Hospital in order to provide surgical operation and other health service delivery of world class standard to the people of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A from the Madras Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (MIOT) at a press conference held at the Garki Hospital said they will institute and exchange progr-amme with the doctors and nurses of the hospital to show them how to provide modern surgery to the people at an "affordable rate to all categories of people"
Dr. Sivakumar Kotha-ndam, physician/cardiologist who briefed newsmen said MIOT will bring their best specialists to provide health services to the residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He said: "We are here to partner with the Garki Hosp-ital to counsel as well as to provide best health services comparable to anywhere in the world. We will help to transform the hospital to the world class standard."
For the hospital to perf-orm its duties successfully, the management said MIOT had updated its facilities just last month.
"By August 2007, MIOT upgraded and installed all the latest state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment to enable us to visualize complex surgeries before they are performed
